Pokemon Amber Climax

Upon Amber defeating Leaf in the Pokemon League, Professor Oak arrives to congratulate her. However, upon examining her PokeDex, he finds that not everything is there, and he becomes nervous. Amber asks why he's reacting this way, and Blaine enters the chamber.

Blaine explains to Amber that Professor Oak recruited her for the PokeDex project to collect genetic material from every Pokemon in hopes of Team Splice using it to artificially create Mega Evolution, as they have done already with the captured Legendary Birds. He then says to Amber that he is disappointed with her progress and that he must do what he can to keep her from spreading the word about him, and the two begin to battle.

After being defeated at Amber's hands, Blaine is infuriated. Professor Oak struggles to talk some sense into him, but this doesn't work. Blaine leaves the chamber, and Professor Oak turns to Amber. He apologizes for all the trouble he has caused, and he gives Amber as an apology the Titan Flute, which will enable her to fly anywhere with the Legendary Birds. He then leaves. Professor Oak thanks Amber, and he and Leaf register her as Champion.
